This timepiece is equipped with a unidirectional rotating divers' bezel calibrated to measure elapsed dive time. The bezel's markings are designed to only turn counter-clockwise to prevent accidental time setting errors during a dive. Additionally, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is outfitted with a helium-escape valve, a feature that allows helium gas to safely exit the watch during decompression after a deep dive.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is crafted from stainless steel and features a black ceramic unidirectional rotating divers' bezel. The watch's dial is black and features a date window at the 3 o'clock position. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the watch dial and offers a clear view of the timepiece's interior.
