DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M reference 232.18.42.21.04.001 is a professional-grade divers’ watch built to withstand the pressures of deep dives. The watch features a 42 mm stainless steel case that is resistant to water to a depth of 600 meters (2,000 feet). The case houses the Omega Co-Axial Calibre 8500, a self-winding movement that is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The movement is visible through the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal caseback. The watch also features a helium-escape valve, which allows helium gas to escape from the watch during decompression after a dive.

The unidirectional rotating bezel of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is diamond-set. The bezel is used to track elapsed dive time. The white dial of the watch features a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The watch hands and hour markers are coated with luminous material, which allows them to be read in low-light conditions.
