DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is a professional-grade diving watch built with a robust stainless steel case and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The 43.5 millimeter diameter case is designed to withstand the pressures of deep dives, with a water resistance rating of 600 meters. A unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic diving scale and Liquidmetal accents allows divers to keep track of elapsed dive time. The helium escape valve is a critical feature for saturation divers, as it allows pressurized helium gas to escape from the watch during decompression.

The timekeeping functionality of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8900, a self-winding automatic movement. This movement is COSC-certified and has been further certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, a designation that signifies exceptional precision and resistance to magnetic fields. The Calibre 8900 features a free sprung balance with a silicon balance spring, which contributes to its chronometric performance. The movement also boasts a long power reserve of approximately 60 hours.
