DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer is a mid-size, robust wristwatch designed for professional and recreational diving. The watch features a 39.5 millimeter stainless steel case equipped with a screw-down crown and a helium-escape valve. The helium-escape valve is a specialized feature that allows helium gas, which can seep into the watch during saturation diving, to safely escape the watch during decompression, preventing the watch case from bursting. The stainless steel caseback is secured with screws and features an alvéol pattern, a decorative honeycomb design that reinforces the caseback without adding excessive weight.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer features a white ceramic dial with a glossy finish. The hour markers are applied Arabic numerals in polished stainless steel with white luminescent coating. The minute and hour hands are also crafted from polished stainless steel and are filled with white luminescent material for optimal readability in low-light conditions. A luminescent dot is placed on the black, skeletonized central sweep seconds hand. The date window is located at the 3 o'clock position on the dial.

The unidirectional rotational bezel of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer is constructed from white ceramic with a diving scale filled with Omega's Liquidmetal™. Liquidmetal is a trademarked amorphous metal alloy that is scratch-resistant, highly durable, and boasts a distinctive silvery-white color that complements the white ceramic bezel. The diving scale on the bezel is calibrated for calculating elapsed dive time. The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer is outfitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment applied to both the interior and exterior surfaces. The sapphire crystal protects the watch dial from scratches and other forms of external damage while ensuring optimal readability of the dial even under harsh lighting conditions.
