DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is a professional-grade diver’s watch built with a robust stainless steel case and a black ceramic dial. The watch’s 39.5 millimeter case measures 14.2 millimeters thick and features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The unidirectional rotating bezel is made of black ceramic and features a diving scale filled with Omega’s Liquidmetal™. The watch’s screw-in caseback is designed to withstand the pressure of deep dives, up to 600 meters (2000 feet). A helium escape valve is also included to allow helium gas to safely escape the watch during decompression after a dive.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, a self-winding movement that has been certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to meet the industry’s highest standards for precision, performance, and magnetic resistance. The Calibre 8800 features a free sprung balance with a silicon balance spring, which contributes to the watch’s exceptional accuracy. The movement also has a Co-Axial escapement, which reduces friction and wear and tear on the movement’s parts. The Calibre 8800 has a power reserve of 55 hours.
