Quick TakeThe Omega Seamaster 1948 is a watch that oozes history. With its platinum case and vintage design, it harkens back to a bygone era of watchmaking. But don't be fooled by its classic looks, this watch is packed with modern technology. The METAS-certified movement is resistant to magnetic fields and ensures precision timekeeping. And the alligator leather strap adds a touch of luxury. Whether you're a history buff or a watch aficionado, the Omega Seamaster 1948 is a watch that will surely impress.
DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster 1948 is a limited edition timepiece that pays homage to the original Seamaster models from 1948. The watch features a 38mm 950 platinum case that houses a domed opaline 950 platinum dial. The dial features hour and minute hands, a central second hand, indexes, and a vintage Omega logo, all in 18K Sedna™ gold. The caseback is made of sapphire crystal and has been laser-engraved and lacquered by hand with a 70th Anniversary logo, a Chris-Craft boat, and a Gloster Meteor aircraft. The watch is water resistant to 6 bar (60 meters / 200 feet) and is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8807, which is certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). The caliber 8807 is a self-winding movement with a power reserve of 55 hours. The watch is presented on a brown alligator leather strap with a platinum pin buckle.

The Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8807 is a co-axial escapement movement that has been chronometer-certified by METAS. The movement is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It is also self-winding, meaning that it is powered by the wearer's movements. The caliber 8807 has a power reserve of 55 hours, which means that it will continue to run for 55 hours after it has been fully wound.

The Omega Seamaster 1948 is a classic timepiece with a modern twist. The watch is a great choice for watch collectors and enthusiasts who are looking for a unique and stylish timepiece.
