DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster 1948 is a limited edition timepiece that pays homage to the original Seamaster models of 1948. The watch features a 38mm 950 platinum case that is water resistant to 60 meters (200 feet). The case houses a domed opaline 950 platinum dial with a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. The hands, indexes, and vintage Omega logo on the dial are all made of 18K yellow gold. The caseback of the watch is made of flat sapphire crystal that has been laser-engraved and lacquered by hand with a 70th Anniversary logo, a Chris-Craft boat, and a Gloster Meteor aircraft. These elements pay tribute to the aviators who placed their trust in Omega's timepieces during World War II.

The Omega Seamaster 1948 is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8805, a self-winding movement that is certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to meet the industry's highest standards for precision, performance, and magnetic resistance. The movement has a power reserve of 60 hours.

The watch is presented on a hunter green alligator leather strap with a split non-grained calf leather underside. The strap is secured to the wrist with a platinum pin buckle. The total weight of the watch is approximately 115 grams.
