DescriptionThe Omega Constellation Globemaster Annual Calendar (reference 130.23.41.22.06.001) is a wristwatch with a sophisticated blend of materials and functions. The ?????? (korpus) or case, measuring 41.00 mm in diameter, is crafted from stainless steel. The bezel, a ring that frames the watch crystal, is made of 18K Sedna™ gold, a proprietary rose gold alloy developed by Omega. This Sedna™ gold bezel features a polished, fluted design, with vertical ridges along its outer surface. The caseback, the underside of the watch, is made from stainless steel and features a central observatory medallion set within a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal window. This medallion signifies the watch’s status as a Master Chronometer, a designation achieved by passing a rigorous series of tests established by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

The dial of the Omega Constellation Globemaster Annual Calendar is a sun-brushed grey color, with a “pie-pan” design characterized by a recessed central section and raised outer ring. This design element pays homage to the very first Omega Constellation models from 1952. The dial features hour markers in the form of applied indexes, crafted from 18K Sedna™ gold and filled with white Super-LumiNova for low-light visibility. Additionally, facetted hands, also in 18K Sedna™ gold and filled with Super-LumiNova, sweep around the dial to indicate the hours and minutes. A date window is positioned at the 3 o’clock location on the dial, and the remaining twelve facets of the pie-pan dial are each marked with a month name in white, corresponding to the annual calendar function.

The Omega Constellation Globemaster Annual Calendar is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8922, a self-winding mechanical movement. This movement is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, thanks to its innovative design incorporating components made from non-ferrous materials. The caliber 8922 also boasts a silicon balance spring, which contributes to its exceptional precision and resistance to shock. The movement offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours when fully wound. The watch is secured to the wrist by a luxurious brown alligator leather strap. The strap features a calf leather underside for comfortable wear and a stainless-steel fold-over clasp for a secure and convenient fit.
