Quick TakeThe Omega De Ville Tourbillon isn't just a watch, it's a symphony of artistry and engineering. Its 18K Sedna™ gold case, a warm, radiant material, pairs beautifully with the deep blue PVD dial, creating a striking contrast. The flying hands, a testament to Omega's innovative spirit, seem to dance above the dial, while the tourbillon, visible through an aperture, is a mesmerizing ballet of mechanical complexity. This is a watch that doesn't just tell time, it captures the essence of time itself.
Description
The Omega De Ville Tourbillon (528.53.44.21.03.001) is a testament to Omega's commitment to horological excellence. This timepiece features a 44mm case meticulously crafted from 18K Sedna™ gold, a proprietary rose gold alloy known for its unique luster and durability. The dial, a captivating blue achieved through physical vapor deposition (PVD) on an 18K Sedna™ gold base, is complemented by "flying hands" also fashioned from 18K Sedna™ gold. These hands seemingly float above the sapphire crystal, adding a touch of magic to the watch's design.
The movement, Omega's caliber 2638, is a self-winding tourbillon movement that showcases the brand's technical prowess. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and boasts a power reserve of 45 hours. The tourbillon, a complex mechanism designed to counteract the effects of gravity on timekeeping accuracy, is visible through an aperture on the dial.
The watch is paired with a blue alligator leather strap lined with non-grained calf leather, secured by an 18K Sedna™ gold foldover clasp. With a water resistance of 3 bar (30 meters), this timepiece is not intended for swimming or diving but is suitable for everyday wear. Weighing approximately 170 grams, the Omega De Ville Tourbillon is a substantial yet comfortable timepiece. The caseback is adorned with a medallion depicting Chronos, the Greek god of time, and is engraved with the tourbillon's unique serial number. This detail underscores the exclusivity and craftsmanship inherent in every Omega De Ville Tourbillon. GenderMen
