DescriptionThe Arceau L'Heure de la Lune features a substantial 43mm diameter case constructed from 750/1000 yellow gold. Protecting the dial is anti-glare treated sapphire crystal, mirrored on the case-back, allowing the user to see the in-house designed mechanical components. The dial is fashioned from dumortierite, providing a unique backdrop for the time display elements. Shaded blue-lacquered mobile counters indicate the time, while simultaneously serving to reveal the moon phases.

The timepiece is driven by the Hermès Manufacture H1837, a mechanical self-winding movement enhanced with a proprietary "Lunar Time" module. This caliber provides traditional hour and minute functions, in addition to providing a view of the double moon phase. This unique double moon phase shows how the moon is observed from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The movement provides an autonomy of approximately 45 hours when fully energized. The case has been tested to be resistant to water up to a pressure of 3 bar. It's secured to the user's wrist using a matte abyss blue alligator strap, fastened by a yellow gold folding clasp.
