DescriptionThe Grand Seiko SBGD215 is an horological marvel, a limited edition of only eight pieces within the Masterpiece Collection. A hand-wound Spring Drive movement, Caliber 9R01, powers this watch and is accurate to ±10 seconds per month (±0.5 second per day). A significant power reserve of approximately 192 hours (8 days) is achieved, as shown by the power reserve indicator. Constructed with a Platinum 950 case, the watch has a substantial presence with dimensions of 44.5mm in diameter, 52.0mm lug-to-lug, and 14.4mm thickness. The case back is a see-through, screw-down type, allowing a view of the intricate movement. The watch weighs 214g and features a time difference adjustment function, 56 jewels, and magnetic resistance to 4,800 A/m.

The dial is protected by a dual-curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. A blue crocodile leather strap, 23mm wide, is secured by a three-fold clasp with a push-button release, incorporating Platinum 950 with parts in 18k white gold. The case is adorned with diamonds and blue sapphires. The arrangement of these precious stones creates a gradient effect, complementing the dial's design, which is reminiscent of a white lion's mane against a snowy backdrop.
