DescriptionThe Grand Seiko SBGA509 is a limited-edition timepiece, part of the Heritage Collection, designed to commemorate the founding of the Grand Seiko Corporation of America. With only 300 units produced, this model's exterior is meticulously crafted from stainless steel, featuring a see-through and screw case back that proudly displays the intricate Caliber 9R65 Spring Drive movement within. The case measures 40.0mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of 46.2mm and a thickness of 12.5mm. Protecting the dial is a dual-curved sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface to enhance visibility under various lighting conditions. The watch features a dusty rose-colored dial inspired by the Kirazuri technique, a traditional Japanese art form. This unique dial texture is complemented by the 44GS case design, known for its mirror-polished surfaces and sharp angles that create an interplay of light and shadow. This design language is central to the Grand Seiko Style, established in 1967. The band is 19mm wide, stainless steel and includes a three-fold clasp with a push-button release.

Additional features include a screw-down crown to enhance water resistance, and the inclusion of 30 jewels within the movement to reduce friction and wear.
