DescriptionThe Grand Seiko STGK007, residing within the Elegance Collection, represents a culmination of horological engineering tailored for feminine aesthetics without compromising mechanical integrity. The stainless steel exterior, meticulously Zaratsu polished, exhibits a distortion-free mirror finish. The case dimensions are precisely defined: a diameter of 27.8mm, a lug-to-lug measurement of 33.5mm, and a thickness of 11.2mm. The overall construction is designed for a streamlined profile on the wrist, achieved in part by the implementation of the newly developed 9S27 automatic caliber. The watch has a 13mm wide band and includes a reliable, three-fold clasp which easily works through a push-button release. This timepiece's case back is transparent, with a screw-down design, for viewing of the watch's inner movement.

The 9S27 caliber, an automatic movement that can be hand-wound, is the core of this timepiece. Measuring only 19.4mm in diameter and 4.49mm in height, this movement exemplifies efficient design. It operates at a frequency of 8 beats, contributing to its accuracy rating of +8 to -3 seconds per day (mean daily rate). Under normal usage, the expected accuracy falls between +10 to -5 seconds per day. Power reserve is around 50 hours. The dial facing is guarded by a dual-curved sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating on its internal surface, ensuring maximum legibility. The champagne silver dial has an amazing pattern, very subtile and inspired by the weave and look of actual linen. There are eleven diamonds, with a combined weight of 0.08 carats, tastefully placed to provide elegant hour markers. The movement integrates 35 jewels to minimize friction and wear. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar and carries magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m, meeting the standard requirements for a robust, everyday luxury timepiece.
