DescriptionThe Grand Seiko SBGW231, part of the Elegance Collection, is encased in stainless steel. Dimensions are precisely defined: a case diameter of 37.3mm, a lug-to-lug measurement of 44.3mm, and an overall thickness of 11.6mm. The case back is a see-through design, fastened securely with six screws, allowing visual access to the meticulously crafted movement. Protecting the dial is a box-shaped sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating applied solely to the inner surface to minimize glare while maintaining a classic aesthetic. The band, constructed from crocodile leather, measures 19mm in width, completing the overall design's refined proportions. The total assembly results in a weight of 61 grams, providing a substantial, yet comfortable presence.

The watch is driven by the Caliber 9S64, a manual-winding movement. This caliber offers an impressive power reserve, capable of running for approximately 72 hours (3 days) when fully wound.
