DescriptionThe Grand Seiko SBGW283, a member of the Elegance Collection, represents a refined approach to horological design, prioritizing essential functionality and understated aesthetics. The stainless steel exterior exhibits a diameter of 37.3mm, a lug-to-lug measurement of 44.3mm, and a thickness of 11.7mm. A box-shaped sapphire crystal, treated with an internal anti-reflective coating, protects the dial. The case back is of a see-through design, secured by six screws, allowing visual access to the meticulously finished movement. The watch's crocodile leather strap has a width of 19mm, fitting a perimeter of up to 195mm. Splash resistance is incorporated into the design of the model, however it's not advisable to expose it to consistent water pressure and submersions. The overall weight of this timepiece is 61 grams. The color is made to represent the skies above Mount Iwate, Japan during the early summer or "Kishun".
