DescriptionThe Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer Tourbillon, reference 1-58-05-01-03-30, is a highly limited timepiece, with only 25 units produced. This watch features a platinum case, measuring 42.00 mm in diameter and 12.00 mm in height. The case, water resistant to 5 bar, houses the Calibre 58-05, a manual winding movement developed in-house by Glashütte Original. This movement offers a power reserve of 70 hours and operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, equivalent to 3 Hz. It boasts a flying tourbillon with a small second hand, a power reserve display, and a second-stop/zero reset mechanism for the tourbillon cage, enhanced by an innovative minute detent. The movement's construction includes a Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish, hand-engraved bridges and cocks, and a balance wheel equipped with a silicon hairspring. Further technical refinements include a planetary gear, a double sunburst pattern on the ratchet wheel, decorative milling on the rotational damper, and a diamond capstone atop the flying tourbillon.

The dial, galvanized in blue, showcases applied indexes and printed inscriptions and scales. A finely turned (vinyl type pattern) decorates the dial's center, while a sapphire crystal ring encircles the small second display. The movement is embellished with screw-mounted gold chatons, beveled and polished edges, and polished or blued steel screws. The crown, crafted from platinum, features a blue inlay with the Double-G symbol. An engraving is featured on the dial column and is mirrored inside the case. The watch is accompanied by a blue Louisiana Alligator leather strap, measuring 75 x 115 mm with a 21 mm end link width, secured by a fold fastener.
