The watch's core, the manual winding Calibre 65-01, is a proprietary movement developed in-house by Glashütte Original. With a power reserve of 42 hours (± 5%), this movement ensures reliable performance. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (vph), equivalent to 4 Hz, it features a Glashütte three-quarter plate adorned with a striped finish, an intricately hand-engraved balance bridge and second cock, and a duplex swan-neck fine adjustment mechanism. Other notable attributes include beveled edges, polished steel components, screw-mounted gold chatons, and blued screws. The case is water resistant to 5 bar.
