DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-44, reference F8120020, showcases a robust construction centered around a 44mm diameter case crafted from recycled stainless steel. The case exhibits a height of 14mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 48mm, contributing to its substantial presence on the wrist. The watch head alone weighs 102 grams, indicative of the quality materials and solid build. A bidirectional Gear Bezel, incorporating the proprietary Fortis Lock System®, surrounds the dial. The case is engineered to withstand substantial water pressure, boasting a water resistance rating of 500 meters (1640 feet, 50 atmospheres). This impressive resistance is achieved, in part, through a screw-down crown employing a triple gasket system and the use of performance FKM gaskets throughout the construction. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides, optimizing legibility under various lighting conditions.

The dial itself presents a "Woodpecker Green" background. The applied hour markers are coated with Superluminova®X1, a luminescent material that emits a blue glow in low-light environments. The hour hand features a metallic finish and is also filled with Superluminova®X1, while the minute hand is rendered in orange and treated with the same luminescent compound. The sweep second hand, also metallic, incorporates a "Bull's Eye" design element filled with Superluminova®X1. Powering the Marinemaster M-44 is the automatic manufacture Calibre Werk 11. This movement features a date complication and, a significant power reserve of 70 hours. The movement's accuracy is further validated by its certification as a chronometer. The watch is paired with a "Block Bracelet", constructed from recycled stainless steel and secured with a robust Screw Pin System. A stainless steel slide clasp, featuring an integrated micro-adjustment system, ensures a secure and comfortable fit.
