DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-44, reference F8120019, showcases a robust construction centered around a 44mm case crafted from recycled stainless steel. The case exhibits a height of 14mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 48mm, contributing to a substantial presence on the wrist. The watch head alone weighs 102 grams. A screw-down crown, fitted with a triple gasket system and augmented by performance FKM gaskets, plays a crucial role in achieving the watch's 500-meter (1640 feet, 50 atm) water resistance rating. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides to maximize legibility under various lighting conditions. The case back is fabricated from stainless steel, and displays an ultra-engraving.

The dial, presented in a deep black with Fortis's distinctive "O" pattern, features applied hour markers filled with Superluminova®X1, a luminescent material that emits a blue glow in low-light environments. The metallic hour hand is also treated with Superluminova®X1, while the minute hand is an eye catching orange, and also filled with Superluminova®X1. A metallic sweep-second hand incorporates a Superluminova®X1 "Bull's Eye" element. The watch’s bidirectional Gear Bezel is equipped with the Fortis Lock System®. Powering the watch is the automatic manufacture Calibre Werk 11, a COSC-certified chronometer movement. This calibre offers a date complication and boasts a substantial 70-hour power reserve. The watch is presented on a Woodpecker Green Horizon Strap, constructed from hypoallergenic FKM rubber. This material is highly resistant to heat, chemicals, and UV radiation. The strap attaches to the case via a screw pin system and is secured with a stainless-steel folding clasp.
