DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-44, reference F8120022, is constructed around a 44mm case diameter, fabricated from recycled stainless steel. Its overall height measures 14mm, with a lug-to-lug measurement extending to 48mm. The watch head itself has a weight of 102 grams. A bidirectional Gear Bezel, incorporating the Fortis Lock System®, frames the dial. The case back is composed of stainless steel, detailed with ultra-engraving. Water resistance is substantial, specified at 500 meters (1640 feet, 50 atmospheres), ensured by a screw-down crown using a triple gasket system and performance FKM gaskets. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating applied to both the inner and outer surfaces for maximizing clarity.

The dial displays a Fortis O-pattern, set against a black base. Applied indices, filled with Superluminova®X1, providing a blue-hued luminescence, facilitate legibility in low-light environments. Time indication is performed by a metallic hour hand, also containing Superluminova®X1. A distinct orange minute hand, also treated with Superluminova®X1, and metallic sweep second hand featuring a Superluminova®X1 filled bull's eye, rounds off display. Powering the Marinemaster M-44 is the automatic manufacture Calibre Werk 11. This movement offers a date complication and provides an extended power reserve of 70 hours. Further enhancing the precision of the Werk 11, is a certification as a chronometer, having undergone stringent testing. A block bracelet, also made of recycled stainless steel, complements the watch head. The bracelet features a secure screw pin system for link attachment, and a stainless steel slide clasp includes an integrated micro-adjustment system to allow a precise fit.
