DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-44, model F8120015, is constructed around a 44mm diameter case meticulously fashioned from recycled stainless steel. This case demonstrates a lug-to-lug measurement of 48mm and a height of 14mm, resulting in a substantial yet ergonomic presence on the wrist. The watch head itself weighs 102 grams. A bidirectional "Gear Bezel" is incorporated, composed of 18 carat gold, and features the proprietary Fortis Lock System®. This mechanism ensures bezel security, preventing unintentional rotation during dives. Water resistance is rated to a significant 500 meters (1640 feet, 50 atmospheres), a depth rating supported by a screw-down crown employing a triple gasket system and performance FKM gaskets. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both inner and outer surfaces to enhance legibility under various lighting conditions.

The F8120015's dial exhibits a black, textured surface, decorated with the Fortis "O-pattern." Applied hour markers, fashioned in a metallic golden hue, are generously filled with Superluminova®X1, a luminous compound that emits a blue glow in low-light environments. The hour and minute hands share the golden metallic finish and Superluminova®X1 treatment. A sweep second hand, also golden, features a "Bull's Eye" filled with the same luminous material. The timepiece operates using the automatic manufacture Calibre Werk 11, a chronometer-certified movement. This calibre provides a date complication, situated discreetly within the overall dial design, and offers an substantial power reserve of 70 hours when fully wound. The case back is composed of stainless steel and features "Ultra-Engraving". The Horizon Strap is constructed from hypoallergenic FKM rubber, selected for its durability against environmental stress like high-temperature and UV light. A stainless steel folding clasp and screw pin are part of the strap assembly.
