DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-44 Black Resin, reference F8120018, represents a robust and meticulously engineered timepiece. Its case, constructed from recycled stainless steel, measures 44mm in diameter and exhibits a lug-to-lug measurement of 48mm, along with a height of 14mm. The watch head itself weighs 102 grams, contributing to a substantial yet balanced presence on the wrist. The case incorporates a screw-down crown enhanced by a triple gasket system, further bolstered by high-performance FKM gaskets throughout. This construction helps to achieve an impressive water resistance rating of 500 meters (1640 feet, 50 atm). Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides to maximize legibility under various lighting conditions.

The unidirectional rotating bezel, a crucial feature for divers, features Fortis’s proprietary Gear Bezel with Lock System®. The dial is finished in a distinctive black with the Fortis O-pattern and features applied, metallic golden indices coated with Superluminova®X1, emitting a blue glow for optimal visibility in low-light environments. The hour and minute hands are also metallic golden, filled with Superluminova®X1. The sweep seconds hand, another essential component for precise timekeeping, shares the golden hue and includes a Superluminova®X1 "Bull's Eye" detail. Powering the Marinemaster M-44 is the automatic manufacture Calibre Werk 11. This movement incorporates a date complication, contributing to the watch's everyday practicality. It integrates a stainless steel slide clasp featuring an integrated micro-adjustment system for achieving the ideal fit. The bracelet links are secured with a screw pin system. The case back is composed of solid Stainless Steel, with ultra-engraving.
