DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-44, reference F8120017, is constructed around a 44mm case diameter, fabricated from recycled stainless steel. The case's height measures 14mm, with a lug-to-lug dimension of 48mm. The watch head, absent the strap, registers a weight of 102 grams. Water resistance is rated to 500 meters, equivalent to 1640 feet or 50 atmospheres, ensured by a screw-down crown employing a triple gasket system. Additional sealing is provided by performance FKM gaskets throughout the case construction. The bidirectional rotating bezel incorporates Fortis's proprietary Gear Bezel with Fortis Lock System®. The case back is specified as stainless steel, featuring "Ultra-Engraving".

Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating applied to both its inner and outer surfaces. This dial presents a black background, embossed with the Fortis O-pattern. Hour markers, treated with Superluminova®X1 for enhanced low-light visibility with a blue glow, are applied to the dial surface. The hour and minute hands feature a metallic golden finish, also treated with Superluminova®X1. The sweep second hand exhibits a matching metallic golden finish, incorporating a "Bull's Eye" design element filled with Superluminova®X1. Powering the watch is the automatic manufacture Calibre Werk 11, a certified chronometer movement. It provides a date complication, positioned on the dial. The movement offers a substantial power reserve of 70 hours. The included Horizon Strap is constructed from hypoallergenic FKM rubber, designed to resist heat, chemicals, and UV radiation. This strap attaches via a screw pin system and utilizes a stainless steel folding clasp.
