DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-40, reference F8120004, showcases meticulous engineering within its 40mm diameter case. Constructed from recycled stainless steel, the case exhibits a height of 12mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 43mm. The watch head itself weighs 76 grams. The unidirectional Gear Bezel®, a signature element, facilitates precise timing adjustments. A screw-down crown, integrated with a triple gasket system and enhanced by Performance FKM gaskets, ensures substantial water resistance, rated to 300 meters, 1000 feet, or 30 atmospheres. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating to maximize visibility under various lighting conditions.

Powering the Marinemaster M-40 is the automatic Performance Calibre UW-30, a movement regulated to chronometer standards, ensuring high precision. The watch is equipped with a date complication for additional functionality at the '3' position on the dial. The UW-30 Calibre retains a 38-hour power reserve when fully wound. The dial, presented in a Serenity Blue hue, features an "O-pattern" unique to Fortis, set with applied indices treated with Superluminova®X1, which emits a blue glow for low-light legibility. The hour and minute hands are crafted with a metallic finish, also incorporating Superluminova®X1. The case back is manufactured from stainless steel and features ultra-engraving detailing. The accompanying block bracelet is also fabricated from stainless steel, complementing the case material.
