The case, measuring 40mm in diameter and 43mm lug-to-lug, is fabricated from recycled stainless steel, emphasizing a commitment to both robustness and environmental consciousness. The case height measures at a substantial 12mm. It is sealed using a screw-down crown, incorporating a triple gasket system, and performance FKM gaskets. This helps ensure an exceptional water resistance rating of 300 meters (1000 feet, 30 atmospheres). A sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both inner and outer surfaces, protects the dial, minimizing glare and maximizing legibility in various lighting conditions. The watch head, absent of the strap, weighs 76 grams. The case back consists of stainless steel and it has ultra-engraving.

Powering the Marinemaster M-40 is the automatic Performance Calibre UW-30, a chronometer-regulated movement providing reliable timekeeping and a date complication. This calibre possesses a power reserve of 38 hours. The dial, finished in a distinctive "Serenity Blue" turquoise, features a textured Fortis "O" pattern. Applied indices, treated with Superluminova®X1, ensure visibility in low-light environments, emitting a blue glow. The hour and minute hands are rendered in metallic with Superluminova®X1, enhancing legibility. The metallic sweep-second hand is defined with a Superluminova®X1 Bull's Eye. A unidirectional Gear Bezel®, also crafted from recycled stainless steel, allows for precise timing of events, crucial for diving applications. The Horizon Strap that it comes on, is attached via a screw pin system, is constructed of turquoise, hypoallergenic FKM rubber. It is resistant to high temperatures, harmful chemicals and UV damage. The clasp on the strap is a stainless steel pin buckle.
