DescriptionThe Fortis Marinemaster M-40, reference F8120027, designated as the Gravity Black variant, is constructed with a case diameter of 40 millimeters, fabricated from recycled stainless steel. This material choice reflects a commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices without compromising structural integrity. The overall height of the watch measures 12 millimeters, with a lug-to-lug dimension of 43 millimeters. The watch head, absent the bracelet, registers a weight of 76 grams. A unidirectional Gear Bezel®, also manufactured from recycled stainless steel, encircles the sapphire crystal. This crystal benefits from an anti-reflective coating applied to both its inner and outer surfaces, maximizing legibility under varied lighting conditions. The case back is comprised of solid stainless steel and exhibits an "Ultra-Engraving". Sealing the watch against water ingress is a screw-down crown, integrated with a triple gasket system. Performance FKM gaskets are used throughout the design, contributing to a water resistance rating of 300 meters (1000 feet, 30 atmospheres).
