DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT Tornado Edition, reference F4260005, features a robust 43mm case constructed from titanium, contributing to the watch head's weight of 88 grams. The overall height of the watch measures 15.5mm, with a lug-to-lug distance of 54mm. It incorporates a bidirectional 12-hour bezel, marked with 1/2-hour increments, allowing the wearer to track a second timezone. The watch ensures water resistance up to 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atmospheres), supported by a screw-down crown featuring a triple gasket system and performance FKM gaskets. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides to maximize legibility under varied lighting conditions.

Powering the timepiece is the automatic manufacture Calibre Werk 13, a certified chronometer movement. This calibre offers a GMT complication along with a date function, and boasts a considerable 70-hour power reserve. The dial showcases a vertically brushed black finish, with an applied circular brushed Brixtrack®. Numerals and Brix indices, constructed from Superluminova®X1, exhibit a blue glow in low light conditions, while the Synchroline® is highlighted in Berlac Fluor Orange. The hour and minute hands feature a metallic finish and are also filled with Superluminova®X1. A contrasting sweep second hand made is presented in Berlac Fluor Orange. The special Tornado Edition adds certain markings. The watch is supplied with a premium Aviator strap crafted from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather. The strap, double folded and without excess filling, hails from sustainable production and is handmade in Germany. Fastening is accomplished through a stainless-steel pin buckle and a screw pin system for secure attachment.
