DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-43 Bicompax, reference F4240008, is structured around a substantial 43mm case crafted from recycled stainless steel. The case exhibits a height of 15.5mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 54mm, giving it a prominent presence on the wrist. The watch head alone weighs 118 grams, showcasing the robust construction. Water resistance is rated to 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atm), ensuring its suitability for professional diving and aquatic activities. This level of water resistance is facilitated by a screw-down crown that employs a triple gasket system, further enhanced by performance FKM gaskets throughout the case assembly. The case back is constructed from stainless steel, featuring a deep and detailed ultra-engraving. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both the interior and exterior surfaces. This minimizes glare and maximizes legibility under various lighting conditions.

The dial presents a vertically brushed petrol color, creating a dynamic background for the timekeeping elements. A distinguishing feature is the applied circular brushed Brixtrack®, framing the dial's periphery.
