DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-43 Bicompax, model number F4240006, represents a meticulously engineered timepiece. Its case, constructed from recycled stainless steel, measures 43mm in diameter and has a substantial lug-to-lug measurement of 54mm, contributing to its robust presence on the wrist. Case height is a noticeable 15.5mm. The case back is fashioned from stainless steel and features ultra-engraving. A screw-down crown, incorporating a triple gasket system, contributes to an impressive water resistance rating of 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atmospheres). Performance FKM gaskets are strategically integrated throughout the watch's construction, further enhancing its resistance to environmental factors. Protection for the dial is afforded by a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both its inner and outer surfaces. This treatment drastically reduces glare and enhances legibility under various lighting conditions. The weight is 118 Grams.

The dial itself is a vertically brushed black, creating a subtle texture that contrasts with the applied, circular brushed Brixtrack®.
