DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-41 Liberty Blue, designated by reference F4220025, presents a robust build centered around a 41mm case crafted from recycled stainless steel. Case height measures 12.5mm, contributing to the substantial presence on the wrist, while the lug-to-lug dimension spans 52mm. The case assembly integrates a screw-down crown, fortified by a triple gasket system, enhancing its resistance to environmental factors. Further contributing the water resistance of 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atm) is Performance FKM gaskets. The case back is composed of stainless steel, and it is adorned with ultra-engraving. Total weight of just the watch head component reaches 86 grams. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating applied to both the interior and exterior surfaces, optimizing legibility under various lighting conditions. A bidirectional 12-hour bezel, featuring half-hour increments, enables the tracking of a second time zone.

Powering the timepiece is the automatic Performance Calibre UW-30, a Swiss-made movement operating with chronometer-level regulation. This calibre provides a power reserve of 38 hours when fully wound and features a date complication. The dial showcases a vertically brushed blue finish. The "Brixtrack®" hour markers are applied and circularly brushed, while the "Synchroline®" elements, along with white colored "Brix" components, are crafted from Superluminova®X1, a luminous material that emits a green glow in low-light environments. The hour and minute hands have a metallic finish, and are also treated with Superluminova®X1. Similarly, the sweep second hand is constructed from metal and features Superluminova®X1. The accompanying Aviator strap is constructed from cowhide leather that has undergone vegetable tanning. Production methods prioritize sustainability, the double-folded straps crafted manually without additional fillers in Germany. The watch is secured using a stainless steel pin buckle, with the strap connected via a screw pin system.
