DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-41, identified by reference number F4220018, exhibits a robust construction centered around a 41mm case diameter. Constructed from recycled stainless steel, the case has a height of 12.5mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 52mm. The complete watch head weighs 86 grams. A bidirectional 12-hour bezel, marked with half-hour increments, encircles the sapphire crystal, which features anti-reflective coating on both the interior and exterior surfaces to minimize glare and improve legibility under diverse lighting conditions. The case back is fabricated from stainless steel and displays ultra-engraving. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atmospheres), supported by a screw-down crown utilizing a triple gasket system, integrated with performance FKM gaskets throughout.

The dial presents a vertically brushed black finish, creating a backdrop for the applied, circularly brushed Brixtrack®. Both the Brixtrack® and the Synchroline® elements utilize Superluminova®X1, a luminescent material that emits a green glow for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. The hour and minute hands possess a metallic finish and also are implemented with Superluminova®X1. The sweep second hand is also done in a matching metallic application, with Superluminova®X1 as well. The movement driving the watch, designated as the Automatic Performance Calibre UW-30, features a date complication. The UW-30 possesses a power reserve of 38 hours and is a self-winding (automatic) caliber that has been given a chronometer level regulation, ensuring accurancy. The timepiece features a vegetable-tanned, cowhide leather Aviator Strap that uses a double folded design. The strap avoids excess padding and materials and is from sustainable, handmade production from Germany. The included buckle on this strap uses a stainless steel pin buckle, and it connects via a screw pin system.
