DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-41, reference F4220017, is constructed around a 41mm case meticulously fashioned from recycled stainless steel. This case demonstrates a height of 12.5mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 52mm, resulting in a substantial yet wearable presence on the wrist. The watch head itself weighs 86 grams. The case incorporates a screw-down crown, enhanced by a triple gasket system, contributing significantly to its water resistance rating of 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atm). Further bolstering its durability, performance FKM gaskets are implemented throughout the case construction. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both the interior and exterior surfaces, to maximize legibility under varied lighting conditions.

The dial of the F-41 features a vertically brushed black finish. This serves as a backdrop for the applied, circular brushed Brixtrack®, along with white Brix and Synchroline® elements, all composed of Superluminova®X1. This luminous material emits a green glow, optimizing visibility in low-light environments. The hour and minute hands are metallic, and also treated with Superluminova®X1. A metallic sweep second hand features Superluminova X1 application. A bidirectional 12-hour bezel, constructed from stainless steel, offers the capacity to track a second time zone. The bezel features 1/2-hour increments for precise settings. The movement powering the F-41 is the automatic performance Calibre UW-30, featuring a date complication. This chronometer-regulated movement provides a power reserve of 38 hours. The case back is made out of stainless steel with ultra-engraving.
