DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-39 Petrol, reference F4220020, exhibits a case constructed from recycled stainless steel, measuring 39mm in diameter and exhibiting a lug-to-lug distance of 50mm. Its overall height is measured at 12.5mm. The case incorporates a screw-down crown, fortified by a triple gasket system, contributing to the substantial water resistance rating of 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atmospheres). Performance FKM gaskets are employed throughout the watch's architecture. The watch head excluding the strap components has a weight of 79 grams. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated on both internal and external surfaces with an anti-reflective coating, enhancing legibility under a variety of lighting scenarios.

The dial itself features a vertically brushed petrol color, presenting a distinct texture. A circular brushed "Brixtrack" is applied, improving legibility. Hour markers, minute indices, and the "Synchroline" element utilize Superluminova X1, which exhibits a green glow in low-light conditions.
