DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-39 Original, reference F4220005, represents a meticulously engineered timepiece. Its case, constructed from recycled stainless steel, measures 39mm in diameter and exhibits a height of 12.5mm, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 50mm. The watch head alone weighs 79 grams. Water resistance is rated to 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atm), ensured by a screw-down crown incorporating a triple gasket system and utilizing performance FKM gaskets throughout. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated on both sides with an anti-reflective coating to optimize legibility under various lighting conditions. The case back is composed of stainless steel and is enhanced with ultra-engraving details.

The matte black dial features an applied, circular brushed Brixtrack®. These "Brix" are constructed with Pilot Green Superluminova®X1, which glows green, ensuring low-light visibility. The Synchroline® is rendered in Berlac Fluor Orange. A bidirectional 12-hour bezel, featuring half-hour increments, allows for the tracking of a second time zone. Legibility is further enhanced by the black metallic hour and minute hands, also filled with Pilot Green Superluminova®X1. The sweep second hand is also coated in Berlac Fluor Orange, providing a striking contrast against the dial. The internal mechanism, the Automatic Performance Calibre UW-30, offers a date complication in addition to timekeeping, with a power reserve of 38 hours. This calibre meets chronometer regulation standards.
