DescriptionThe Fortis Flieger F-39, reference F4220026, is constructed with a case diameter measuring precisely 39 millimeters, fabricated from recycled stainless steel. This material choice underscores a commitment to sustainability without compromising structural integrity. The watch boasts a substantial water resistance rating of 200 meters (600 feet, 20 atmospheres), ensuring its operational capabilities under significant hydrostatic pressure. A screw-down crown, incorporating a triple gasket system, contributes to this robust water resistance, complemented by performance FKM gaskets throughout the case assembly. The overall height, or thickness, of the watch case is 12.5 millimeters, and the lug-to-lug measurement extends to 50 millimeters. The weight of just the "watch head" unit checks in at 79 grams.

Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both its inner and outer surfaces to maximize legibility under various lighting conditions. The dial itself presents a vertically brushed blue finish, enhanced by an applied circular brushed "Brixtrack®". Indices and the Synchroline® element are composed of Superluminova®X1, a luminescent material that emits a green glow in low-light environments. The hour and minute hands adopt a metallic construction, also featuring Superluminova®X1 for nighttime visibility. A sweep second hand, also metallic, includes Superluminova treatment. The installed automatic performance Calibre UW-30 movement provides a power reserve of 38 hours. Functionality is limited to the display of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. The bezel is of a bidirectional 12-hour design with markings in half-hour increments, supporting basic second time-zone tracking. The case back consists of solid stainless steel and has ultra-engraving.
