Case integrity for aquatic environments is ensured via a screw-down crown mechanism and a solid stainless steel screw-down case back, contributing to a water resistance rating of 20 atmospheres, equivalent to 200 meters or 656 feet. Protection for the dial is provided by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which incorporates an anti-reflective coating to enhance legibility under various lighting conditions. Time-setting and winding operations are managed through the aforementioned screw-down crown.
