Quick TakeThis isn't just your grandpa's burly dive watch shrunk down; the SUB 200T Caribbean is a thoughtfully refined tool that brings classic DOXA dive prowess into a sleek, modern package perfect for daily wear. That vibrant Caribbean blue dial, maybe with that sunray finish catching the light, just pops against the robust stainless steel case. It's compact at 39 mm, slipping under a cuff easily, yet it still packs the serious specs: 200 meters of water resistance and the legendary DOXA unidirectional bezel with the no-decompression scale etched right in – a nod to its hardcore dive heritage. Inside, the reliable Swiss automatic ticks away with a decent 38-hour power reserve. You get the toughness of the sapphire crystal and screw-down crown, plus lume that actually works when you need it. Whether you choose the vintage cool of the 'Beads of Rice' bracelet or the sporty comfort of the FKM rubber, both with that handy wetsuit extension, it’s ready for anything from desk diving to actual reef exploration. It’s a proper DOXA, just perfectly proportioned for today.
DescriptionEngineered with a focus on dimensional optimization for enhanced wearability, the SUB 200T case is constructed from 316L stainless steel. Its primary diameter measures 39.00mm, with a lug-to-lug dimension of 41.50mm and a total height profile of 10.70mm. This reduction in spatial volume compared to predecessors facilitates a more contemporary wrist presence. Structural integrity for underwater application is ensured via a screw-down case back, also fabricated from stainless steel, and a screw-down crown mechanism. These elements contribute to a certified water resistance rating of 20ATM, equivalent to 200meters or approximately 656feet. The design specification supports safe operation during deep diving activities. Protecting the dial interface is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating to maximize legibility by minimizing glare under various lighting conditions, including direct sunlight and underwater environments.
Internal operation relies upon a Swiss automatic mechanical movement, characterized by its self-winding capability. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4.0Hz), providing a power reserve of approximately 38 hours when fully wound. Aesthetic enhancement of the caliber is achieved through decoration applied by DOXA. Timekeeping indications include central hours, minutes, and seconds hands. A date complication is integrated into the dial architecture, positioned at the 3 o'clock marker. Functionality is augmented by the inclusion of DOXA's patented unidirectional rotating bezel, calibrated in feet and incorporating the US Navy no-decompression limit table for enhanced dive safety management. The dial itself presents either an iconic or sunray finish, achieving a luminous sunburst effect, and utilizes Super-LumiNova® coating on key indicators for optimal visibility in low-light or deep-water conditions. Attachment options include a stainless steel "Beads of Rice" bracelet or an FKM rubber strap, both secured by a folding clasp featuring a ratcheting wetsuit extension. The lug width standard is 18.00mm.
