DescriptionThe Chronoswiss Space Timer Solaris, reference CH-9343.2-SOL, features a case constructed from stainless steel, comprising 19 individual parts. Its dimensional specifications include a diameter of 44 mm and a height of 15.2 mm, establishing a substantial wrist presence. The case architecture incorporates a screw-down case back, which exhibits a satin finish and integrates a sapphire crystal for viewing the movement. The overall case finish is a combination of partly polished and partly vertically satin-finished surfaces. An onion-style crown facilitates time-setting and winding operations. Protecting the dial is a polished screw-down bezel, characterized by a full thread design and side knurling, fitted with a curved sapphire crystal featuring double anti-reflective coatings. The design accommodates a strap width of 22 mm. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar, equivalent to a depth of 100 meters, ensuring suitability for surface water activities.

Powering the timepiece is the automatic Caliber C.308 movement. This mechanism operates at a frequency of 4 Hz, translating to 28,800 alternations per hour (A/h), and provides an approximate power reserve of 42 hours. The movement integrates 33 jewels to minimize friction. Finishing details include a polished pallet lever, escape wheel, and screws, while the bridges and plates are adorned with perlage. Visible through the exhibition case back is the skeletonized rotor, distinctively orange-colored, featuring Côtes de Genève decoration and mounted on a ball bearing for efficient winding. The complex dial structure is a 63-part assembly. It features a lasered base with a nanoprint finish, evoking the solar theme. Skeletonized train wheel bridges display angled and polished edges, along with vertical satin finishing and sandblasted galvanic black surfaces. Hour and date indications utilize partly skeletonized components made from transparent ITR2. Minute indication is achieved through massive cylinders composed of a Super-LumiNova and ceramic mixture. The date display employs minute stainless steel balls (0.6mm diameter) mounted within the ITR2 structure. A thermally colored titanium hemisphere, treated with Super-LumiNova, serves as the moon/star phase indicator. Time is displayed via off-center hours at the 12 o'clock position featuring an "Open Gear" mechanism, complemented by central minute and central second hands. The lacquered "Blade" shaped hands incorporate Super-LumiNova inlays for low-light legibility. This model is a limited edition of only 50 pieces worldwide.
