The 40.5mm stainless steel case houses the complex Calibre JJ04, an in-house moonphase module based on the Sellita SW220 movement. This innovative movement boasts a perpetual moonphase complication, accurate to a day every 128 years, and a smooth, dynamic representation of the moon's phases.

The captivating dial, crafted from aventurine, is a type of glass infused with copper oxide flakes, creating a mesmerizing shimmer that reflects light like a starry night sky. Unlike previous Christopher Ward moonphase models, this dial features a minimalist aesthetic, devoid of indices, markers, or even a logo, drawing the viewer's attention solely to the celestial dance of the moon across the aventurine canvas. The moon itself is a marvel of watchmaking artistry. Crafted from Globolight©, a luminescent ceramic material, the moon is 25% larger than its predecessor in the C1 Moonglow watch. This larger size, combined with a wider aperture, affords a more prominent and detailed view of the moon's phases. Additionally, the moon is decorated with a four-color print, closely resembling the actual moon's surface for enhanced realism. Notably, the luminescent material used in the moon glows white in the dark, deviating from the green luminescence found in the C1 Moonglow.
