DescriptionThe Christopher Ward C1 Moonglow is a 40.5 mm automatic watch with a black dial and a black Cordovan leather strap. The watch is water resistant to 30 meters and has a power reserve of 38 hours.

The watch's most striking feature is its two three-dimensional moons, which are positioned opposite each other on the dial. The moons are coated with Grade X1 GL C1 Super-LumiNova®, which emits a green luminescence in low-light conditions. The moon at 12 o'clock shows the current phase of the moon, while the moon at 6 o'clock is constantly obscured by smoked glass.

The watch also features a unique date complication. Instead of a conventional date window, the C1 Moonglow has a rotating ring that is coated with Grade X1 GL C1 Super-LumiNova®. The ring rotates to align the current date with a fixed date scale on the dial. This system makes the date easy to read, even in low-light conditions. The C1 Moonglow is powered by the Calibre JJ04, which is Christopher Ward's in-house moonphase movement. The Calibre JJ04 is based on the Sellita SW220 movement, but it has been modified to include a moonphase complication. The Calibre JJ04 is a high-precision movement that is accurate to within a day every 128 years.
