DescriptionThe Chopard L.U.C XPS Twist QF, reference 161945-1001, is a limited-edition timepiece, with only 250 units produced, constructed from 18-karat ethical white gold. The case has a diameter of 40 millimeters and a remarkably slender profile, measuring just 7.20 millimeters in thickness. This thin profile is achieved, in part, by the use of an incredibly thin movement. The dial is finished in a distinctive blue-gray hue, achieved through a specialized galvanic treatment, and features a satin-brushed sunburst finish emanating from the small seconds subdial. Rhodium-plated hour markers add a touch of contrast and enhance legibility. Protecting the dial is a glareproofed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, while the case back, also crafted from sapphire crystal, offers a clear view of the intricate movement within. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters, suitable for everyday wear but not for submersion or aquatic activities. The crown, fashioned from 18-karat white gold, controls the watch's functions and complements the overall aesthetic.

Powering this elegant timepiece is the L.U.C 96.26-L caliber, a self-winding mechanical movement developed in-house by Chopard. This movement is certified by the Fleurier Quality Foundation, ensuring its precision and reliability. The L.U.C 96.26-L boasts an impressive power reserve of approximately 65 hours, thanks to Chopard's innovative L.U.C Twin Technology, which utilizes two stacked barrels. This feature allows for a longer duration between windings, enhancing the watch's practicality. The movement is composed of 193 individual parts, including 29 jewels, and measures a mere 3.30 millimeters in thickness, with a diameter of 27.40 millimeters. The movement is adorned with traditional finishing techniques, including Côtes de Genève on the bridges and circular graining on the mainplate. Finally, the watch is presented on a matte, gray alligator strap with hand-sewn matching tones and a brown alligator lining, secured by an 18-karat white gold pin buckle.
