At a mere 9.75 mm thick, the case maintains a sleek profile while providing a water resistance of 100 meters. A screw-down crown in stainless steel ensures the integrity of the case against the elements. The Pitch Black dial, achieved through galvanic treatment, is inspired by the iris of an eagle and features rhodium-plated Roman numerals and hour-markers with Super-LumiNova coating for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. Completing the case construction is a transparent sapphire crystal case-back, allowing the wearer to appreciate the intricate mechanics within.
