At its core lies the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. This certified chronometer oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasts a chronograph function capable of measuring time to 1/4th of a second, with 30-minute and 12-hour counters. The movement, comprised of 47 jewels, also features a date display through a dial aperture.

Encasing this intricate mechanism is a robust 44mm diameter case crafted from DLC-coated stainless steel. A unidirectional ratcheted bezel, essential for divers, surrounds the cambered sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The watch features a screw-locked crown with two gaskets, contributing to its impressive water resistance of 200 meters (660 feet).
