At its heart beats the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a self-winding mechanical movement with a 70-hour power reserve. This COSC-certified chronometer ensures exceptional accuracy with a vibration rate of 28,800 v.p.h. The movement, comprised of 47 jewels, drives the watch's timekeeping functions, including a 1/4th second chronograph with 30-minute and 12-hour counters, and a date display subtly positioned within the dial aperture.

Encasing this intricate mechanism is a robust 44mm stainless steel case, measuring 15.51mm thick and featuring a screw-locked crown with two gaskets for enhanced water resistance. The watch is engineered to withstand depths of up to 200 meters (660 feet). A unidirectional, ratcheted bezel allows for safe timing during dives, while the cambered sapphire crystal, glareproofed on both sides, provides optimal readability in any condition. The caseback, also crafted from sapphire crystal, offers a view of the meticulously finished movement within. Securing the watch to the wrist is a stainless steel mesh bracelet, 22mm wide with a straight lug design.
