A screw-locked crown with two gaskets and a unidirectional ratcheted bezel contribute to the watch's exceptional water resistance of 300 meters (1,000 feet). Protecting the dial is a cambered sapphire crystal with glareproofing on both sides for optimal readability in various lighting conditions.
