It houses the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B09, a mechanical hand-wound movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. This intricate mechanism, composed of 28 jewels, beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, enabling the chronograph to measure time with 1/4th of a second precision up to 30 minutes.

The watch features a 40 mm diameter case with a thickness of 13.08 mm, contributing to a total weight of 95 grams (with the strap). The caseback is crafted from sapphire crystal, secured by screws, and provides a view of the movement within. A cambered sapphire crystal, glareproofed on both sides, protects the silver dial. The watch has a fixed bezel and a non-screw-locked crown with two gaskets, ensuring water resistance up to 10 bars.
