Encased in 18k red gold, the 41mm case measures 13.60mm in thickness and features a bidirectional slide rule bezel, a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and a screwed-in sapphire crystal caseback. With a water resistance of 3 bars, it offers protection against splashes and brief immersion in water. The watch-head weighs approximately 90g, while the total weight with the strap is around 121.82g.

Powering the Cosmonaute is the Breitling B12 Manufacture caliber, a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
