It features a bidirectional slide rule bezel, enabling complex mathematical calculations, a hallmark of the Navitimer line's aviation heritage. The watch is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a self-winding mechanical movement with a chronograph function. This movement, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasts an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours. With 47 jewels, the movement provides precise timekeeping and chronograph measurements to 1/4th of a second. The chronograph features sub-dials for 30 minutes and 12 hours, in addition to the central chronograph seconds hand. A date window is discreetly positioned at the 6 o'clock position on the dial.
