It houses the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a self-winding mechanical movement with a chronograph function capable of measuring time to 1/4th of a second and featuring 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. This COSC-certified chronometer operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasts an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement comprises 47 jewels and includes a date display through a dial aperture.

Encasing this intricate mechanism is a robust 44mm diameter case constructed from stainless steel and 18k red gold. With a thickness of 14.45mm and a height of 53.50mm from lug tip to lug tip, the watch commands a strong presence on the wrist. The case features a unidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel, a screw-locked crown with two gaskets for enhanced water resistance, and a screwed-in sapphire crystal caseback offering a view of the movement.
