This intricate mechanism, comprised of 47 jewels, oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement drives the watch's timekeeping functions, including a 1/4th second chronograph with 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers, ensuring precise time measurement.

Encapsulating this sophisticated movement is a robust stainless steel case, featuring a screwed-in caseback with a sapphire crystal for viewing the movement. The case measures 44.0 mm in diameter and 14.45 mm in thickness, with a height of 53.50 mm from lug tip to lug tip. A unidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel, also crafted from stainless steel, provides functionality for divers and other professionals. Protecting the dial is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
